I was recently back in Toronto for the work week and spent it in the office for my corporate job. Since Austin has been one warm day after another (30 °C/86 °F), it was fun to break out the fall wardrobe and create fall work outfits. I put together a mini fall capsule wardrobe and brought it to Toronto, using the pieces for days in the office and nights out with friends.
For this Outfit Roundup, I’m sharing a few simple and chic fall work outfits.
Cuffed Jeans + Cardigan + Structured Bag
Cuffed jeans have exploded in popularity recently, but there was no way I was paying $200+ for a pair. Instead, I set an alert on Gem and Beni and waited. I scored these ones new with tags for half the retail price and they fit like an absolute dream!
Blazer + Sweater Over Shoulders + Sneakers
The weather was obviously cooler than I planned for so my cashmere sweater had to do double duty as a scarf. It’s an absolute staple in my wardrobe and was picked up from The Noble Cashmere pop-up last year. The mother & daughter team run a secondhand cashmere pop-up on Queen West in Toronto every winter.
Button Down + Midi Skirt + Loafers
I purchased these loafers from Maguire, a Canadian brand, earlier this year and they are absolutely *chef’s kiss*. A pair of white or cream loafers are so useful for pulling together chic outfits that might seem too heavy when paired with a black shoe. Highly recommend for putting together stylish work outfits.
Colourful Sweater + Pearl Necklace + Tailored Trousers
This pearl necklace is from a small Toronto brand, Elais, made of freshwater pearls. It’s been a standout piece in my wardrobe and one I get compliments on every single time I wear it. Recommend checking Elais out and supporting an independent brand.
